Bolton born Langley Interiors celebrates 50 years of trading
Langley Interiors are thrilled to be celebrating their 50th Anniversary later this year. The third generation family business based in Bolton has been proudly designing and manufacturing bespoke bathrooms and fitted furniture to clients across the Northwest and beyond since 1969.
Bolton Roots
Founded by husband and wife team Stanley and Marjory Langley in the late sixties, the company’s roots began in the modest manufacturing of coffins before quickly turning their skills in joinery to create beautiful bespoke fitted furniture. Keen to remain a family business, their son Peter joined the company at the tender age of 15 learning the careful craftsmanship from his father and working his way up the ladder.
Today, Peter is the Senior Designer at Langley Interiors where he works closely alongside wife Debra and his stepdaughter Gemma. Speaking of the anniversary, Peter said ‘We are all delighted to be celebrating 50 years of trading here at Langley Interiors. We’re all extremely proud of our Bolton roots and I personally feel very grateful to be part of the family business my parents built.’
Handcrafted Fitted Furniture to This day
Langley Interiors products are all handmade and crafted on site in Bolton in the original workshop just a mile from the centre of the town. Later introducing bathroom design and installation alongside the success of their custom fitted furniture; the company sources materials from local suppliers wherever possible and uses the finest fittings to create each bespoke piece. Attention to detail and quality is at the heart of everything the family creates making it no surprise customers return to Langley Interiors time and time again.

50th Anniversary Celebrations
To mark their 50th Anniversary this year, Langley Interiors will be celebrating over the next few months by inviting their valued customers and the local public to a series of exclusive open weekends and events. Speaking of the company’s special achievement, Gemma Stockberger, Head of Sales and Marketing at Langley Interiors said
‘Langley Interiors is a brilliant example of British handmade manufacturing in a modern world. The success of the business really is down to the passion of the family and team here and we’re really looking forward to celebrating starting with our first open weekend which takes place on the 14th and 15th July.’
