How to Clean Bathroom Mirrors
How To Clean Bathroom Mirrors.
We loved this guide to beautiful gleaming mirrors from house to home so much, we just had to share it with you!
Mirrors make A Huge Difference in a Bathroom Design
Any good bathroom designer knows that mirrors in a bathroom make a huge difference to the look and feel. The light is bounced around the room and they make a bathroom look and feel bigger as well. In a Langley Interiors bathroom design, you will always see lots of fabulous mirrors that are made to measure to fit the bathroom design perfectly.
What You Need To Clean a Mirror
With all those mirrors, you need to know the tricks to keeping them clean. The key ingredients to gleaming mirrors are a microfibre cloth and warm water. You may also find washing-up liquid, a sponge and some shaving foam (not gel) useful as well.
Get Mirrors Sparkling
If your mirrors aren’t too dirty, they can be cleaned very quickly with a little warm water, applied and rubbed dry (in even circular motions to avoid smears) with a microfibre cloth.
If there’s a little more dirt involved, dilute some washing-up liquid in a basin of warm water and use a sponge to wipe over the mirrored surface. Then, buff away any remaining marks with a clean microfibre cloth.
Keep Steamed-up Mirrors at Bay
To keep mirrors steam-free in your bathroom use this little known tip. Apply a little shaving foam evenly across the surface. Wipe away and buff with a microfibre cloth.
Heated Mirror Pads For Permanent Steam Free Solution
For a cleaner and more permanent solution, you can choose to have heated mirror pads fitted when you have a new bathroom installed. A large proportion of our clients choose to do this, and a good bathroom designer like ourselves will be able to design and install this solution.
