Christmas Wreath Making Workshop – Success!
Lets Get Christmassy!
At Langley Interiors we are completely obsessed with home interiors. Our team decided to get into the Christmas spirit and hold a Christmas wreath making workshop for our customers and the local community. Our expert tutor Wendy Power was the perfect person to take us through the process of creating our dream wreaths with over 10 years experience as a local florist.
Fresh Wreaths
Each of the wreaths was created using a selection of evergreens. Wendy supplied us with a variety of different types of ever greens including spruce, fir, holly and eucalyptus. After ‘greening up’ our very own wreath oasis (ideal to keep the Wreaths green right up to Christmas) she demonstrated how to incorporate different decorative items. She brought with her a selection of beautiful home made finishing touches including oven dried oranges, cinnamon and pine cones.
For the more daring in the group there was also the option to include sparkly Christmas bulbs!

Interesting Skills
Wendy demonstrated how to make our own ribbon (a skill we have no doubt will be repeated numerous times on the run up to Christmas)! As with most things in life, having the right technique makes a huge difference – we learnt how to choose the right branches and fit them onto the base so that they look symmetrical and professional. Then how to decorate those with flowers, bulbs, ribbons and pine cones so that your neighbours would envy you throughout the winter.
Prosseco and Nibbles
If that was enough, guests enjoyed Prosecco and free flowing mince pies, puff pastries and other Christmas nibbles, along with Chritmas music to really get the party mood!
New Friends
12 guests were lucky enough to join us on this Christmas wreath workshop. Many of them were first time hobby crafting, with a mixture of clients and designers we have worked with over the years.
