Our team of furniture experts planned, designed and fitted this stunning dressing room in chic stylish white high gloss.

The Clients Brief

Our client suffered from a lack of storage space in her house. Being very fond of fine clothing she wanted a sleek stylish storage area to keep everything organised. One of her main requirements for the dressing room was to not over clutter the space and keep it simple as in the rest of the house. Many design features in her home utilised a slight metallic shine with subtle silver and grey ornaments.

She turned to us in order to create a custom dressing room for their newly built home and create a sense of luxury that she could enjoy every day. Our client wanted to keep the room classy, but with a modern edge that will remain stylish for years to come.

The Design

The room has two windows, both of them facing north, reducing the amount of natural light coming in. For that reason our senior designer, Peter Langley, suggested using a beautiful modern high gloss finish. To help bounce the light around the room he also incorporated glass and reflective elements in the design. This helps to brighten up the space, as well as allowing for contrasting silver and dark grey features for a luxurious balanced feel.

Opening Up the Room

To best utilise the abundance of space in the room our designer decided to place a large storage unit in the middle. The piece comprises of two sets of hidden, push-to-open drawers.

Besides offering the perfect storage space, it also creates an area of interest within the room. The soft cushion mounted on top of the unit also adds a convenient sitting space, perfect for dressing and putting on shoes.

Grand and Spacious Dressing Table

Every proper dressing room requires a dressing table. This large dressing table complete with glass top and bespoke lit mirror is a show stopping piece and the focal point of the room.  The lighting has been perfectly designed for make up application. The dressing table has been situated near the window to make use of the natural lighting when available. However, when the natural light is not available the light-up mirror is the perfect alternative. 

Fully Fitted Wardrobes

Our client requested plenty of wardrobe storage, including hanging, drawers and shelves to suit all storage needs. Providing an incredible amounts of storage space not only for clothes, but for any styling and travel necessities. The large dressing room wardrobe is completed by a large set of drawers placed under the window.

The drawers have been finished with a glass top that matches the dressing table, tying the room together. The talking point of the room that the client fell in love with are the stunning  door handles in silver, inset with Swarovski crystals.
