How To Freshen Up Guest Bedrooms
The best way to create a stress free and enjoyable Christmas is to be organised!
These tips are ideal for this time of year. Most guest bedrooms double up as another function most of the time, so make the most of it and welcome them properly. For more tips visit the Langley Interiors fitted furniture showroom in Bolton.
Declutter and Reorganise
Turn your spare room into a guest bedroom by firstly boxing up everything you don’t currently need and store away until your visitors leave.
Create a Scented Ambience
Freshen up the room by opening a window for an hour or so before they arrive. Light a scented candle or spray some freshener in the room.
Change the Bedlinen
If you thought ahead and changed this after the last guests were there, then simply smooth down, plump up the pillows. You can even add them to the tumble dryer for a short period as long as they are natural fibers. If not, get changing it now!
Fresh towels and toiletries make a lovely touch and make guests feel welcome. If the bathroom is being shared, you might want to let them know when the busy times are so they can avoid them.
Hang Up a Mirror
This lets your guests get ready in private, as well as freeing up the bathroom for others. You could also put a small bin in the guest bedroom as well for cotton wool and tissues.
If you don’t have an empty wardrobe, why not look at some over the door hooks and hangers. If you want more storage all year round, Langley’s build made to measure fitted bedroom furniture to make the most of your space.
Put out Bedside Essentials
Water glasses, bottles of water and a reading lamp will always be appreciated. If you have space, why not look at providing a travel kettle and some tea bags and milk? You can buy these in Costco or other cash and carry’s.
