Kids Bedrooms – Teen Bedroom Ideas
This week we have been lucky enough to be invited to see some of the fantastic kids bedrooms we have recently completed.
Back to school time is the perfect opportunity to have a sort out and get your storage and decorating sorted – you would be surprised how much it encourages them to keep their bedrooms tidy!
It can be a little awkward for a young teen to have a bedroom they love (as well as the parents of course!) and that will grow with them. This bright teen bedroom manages to bridge the gap perfectly.
The mix of this beautiful purple high gloss and classic oak gives the room a fabulous modern splash of colour without being overpowering.
Bright Statement Wallpaper From Harlequin
Make a statement wall behind the bed with a bright patterned wall paper like this beauty from Harlequin in ‘Lacarno’. This design ties perfectly with the fitted furniture. You can have a lot of fun with the soft furnishings and wall papers, and these can be changed as they grow up.
Making the bedroom comfortable to encourage study will no doubt be top of most parents’ wish list for any teen bedroom. The desk has been designed so that they can sit on both sides. They can have a view of the garden in the summer, and face towards the room as the days become darker. The bespoke fitted book shelves give plenty of storage for their schoolbooks and DVD’s.
The large run of bright high gloss fitted wardrobes give lots of storage that will make them want to hang all their clothes up! The storage includes a mix of hanging, shelves and hidden drawers for a clean look, and a space for everything.
