Pantone Colour of the Year 2024 – Peach Fuzz

At Langley’s, we have been patiently waiting in anticipation for the colour of the year to be announced by Pantone . This year certainly lived up to expectations!

Peach Fuzz has been developed “to bring a sense of kindness and tenderness whilst also encouraging a message of community and collaboration”.

A Fresh Approach From Pantone

Peach Fuzz embodies a fresh approach to a new softness that is developing in the home sector, be it furniture, soft furnishings or wall and floor colours. It’s aim is to encourage individuals to gain a sense of comfort and sanctuary within the colour.

We have seen a shift in the design schemes coming through to us towards tranquillity and a sense of calm. Peach Fuzz truly embraces the trend of creating comfort and a place to flourish within your space.

Re-framing Your Life

Peach Fuzz is a shade that encourages self-expression and exploration in aligning our values with what we focus on within our daily lives. Pantone’s focus is to emphasise the importance of spending time with loved ones as well as taking a moment of time to ourselves.

Encouraging coming together with others and embracing ourselves is the message entangled with this colour.

Using Peach Fuzz In Your Home

Warm up your space

Peach Fuzz is a warm toned colour that is a perfect way to add some warmth into your home. By adding a peach tone through either cushions, art work or accessories it allows for the darker colours in the room to pop. This brings additional warmth and dimension to the room.

Add as an accent

Using the peach hue all over a room may be a bit overwhelming and may make the room look bland. However, adding some peach as an accent is a perfect way to make it a focal point of the room. This can be done through using accent tiles, painting one or two walls or using wallpaper that uses small splashes of peach within it.

An easy way to add an accent colour into your space is through accessories, such as cushions, rugs and towels.

Add some flowers

If you don’t want to completely commit to a peachy home update, adding flowers with peach tones is a perfect way to bring the trending colour into your home.

Bringing elements of nature into your home will also brighten up your home and will compliment any space.
